Southwest Airlines is all set to make weekdays fun by introducing their initiative, Wanna Go Wednesdays. It is a program by the airline where you can book last minute flights on Wednesdays for low fares. These low fares are for flights that are available for last minute bookings. 

Wanna Go Wednesdays program began on 1st May and here are some of the sample fare on famous routes given by the airline on May 1, Wednesday:

  • $69 for one-way direct flight between Las Vegas and Long Beach, Calif
  • $89 for one-way nonstop flight between Denver and Phoenix
  • $89 for one-way nonstop flight between Dallas (Love Field) and New Orleans
  • $109 for one-way direct flight between Baltimore/Washington (BWI) and Detroit
  • $109 for one-way direct flight between Atlanta and Orlando.

The Vice President Marketing Communications and Strategy at Southwest Airlines, Jennifer Bridie said that with the launch of Wanna Go Wednesdays travelers have a whole new reason to look forward to weekdays. The new weekly program allows passengers to book flights that are available for last-minute bookings at low fares. She added that they think it’s an amazing way to highlight spontaneous travel to destinations at low fares for travelers.
