Pearl Harbor: Named after the numerous pearls harvested from within its depths, it is the largest natural harbor in Hawaii. While it is still an active naval station, the harbor is also a National Historic Landmark. A part of it houses several iconic attractions like War II Valor in the Pacific Monument, including memorials for the USS Oklahoma, USS Utah, USS Arizona, and Battleship Row and Ford Island.

Diamond Head: The Diamond Head is a dormant volcano. It is an iconic landmark located along Waikiki's coastline. It is a historical peak that was once an important part used for the island's defense. Today, it is an easy hiking trail of up to 560 feet that ends with a picturesque viewpoint over Honolulu and Waikiki. At the top of the volcano is a lighthouse built in 1917, as well as bunkers and the Fire Control Station that controlled cannonry at Fort Ruger and Waikiki.

Hanauma Bay Nature Preserve: Hanauma Bay used to be a popular snorkeling destination that became polluted due to damage from over-use. It is a unique natural bay formed within the crater of an ancient volcano, thanks to the restoration efforts that started back in 1990. To combat the damage and protect and preserve the bay for future generations, they have limited the number of visitors. All the beachgoers are required to watch an educational video about how they can make sure they're not harming the reef and ecosystem they're about to enjoy.

Shangri La: The Shangri La is a museum that features the complete collection of the Doris Duke Foundation for Islamic Art, which results from the benefactor's love for Islamic design and artwork. The collection includes ceramic art, most notably tile-work, including medieval Persian examples. Some of the other most striking examples are the large architectural pieces commissioned for the 1930s, created by artists in Iran, India, and Morocco.

Iolani Palace: It is a neoclassical building that was completed in 1882 by King Kalakaua. It is the official residence of Hawaii's monarchy and a great place to experience Hawaiian history.
